Title: New Wheels , Danger of Rubbing ?
Post by: Bulla on March 06, 2007, 12:07:08 PM
I\'ve got some new rims on there way 17x8.5 Front and 17 x 9.5 Rear.

I\'ve been looking at 235-45 for the front and 265-40 for the rear , I wanted 235-40 and 265-35 but couldnt find these sizes for Toyo T1-R\'s.

Is anyone out there using this combination of wheel and size rubber, do you experience any rubbing of the arches or am I worrying about nothing ?

Cheers

ive got the combination but its the offset you need to know plus how much the car is lowered by ? mine only catches on full lock and im very close to the arches on bumps but it doesnt actually damage the tyre
