what happened ?
lost it comin off a slip rd back end stepped so tryed to correct in and over did it ended up doin 720 goin up a kirb wi front bumper and hittin the kirb with the back wheel was very lucky back wheel stopped me as was less than a foot away from a lamp post

Looks like your 7 bit you on your arse, you have got to give rear wheel drive cars a bit of respect.
It could have been a lot worse.

i had the same problem...i think i was lucky in that i had the two lanes to skate across...scared the bejesus out of me but gave me good idea of what a rwd car could do without any electronically wizadry in the drive system...
i\'m now starting to enjoy the rear wheel drive system more and more for drifting techniques. hehe
goin to see some one about the bumper today to see if i can get the peice re fibre glassed on because the bumpers are around 450 and 6 week to come!!!!i quiet sure the wheel cant be repaired but if its possible wud be willing to giv it a try!!!!!i bought the car from down london hertfordshire of a guy called ant who owns nv auto styling!!!!

How about take the opportunity to upgrade the bumper for 1 of your choice, every cloud and all that!

You can\'t drive a rex fast without overstepping the mark a few times! I had a similar moment and mine would be scrap too if there hadn\'t been a bus stop to slide into...lucky.
Good luck with the wheel. Its a split rim so you can replace the outer rim section. Image wheels will make you one for a few quid.

i thought it was his car ants a good mate of mine, hes spent loads on that car, dont think he\'ll be a happy bunnie when he finds out you have hurt it! used to make me laugh in the
summer it would get flys stuck in the headlights, dunno how they got in like.

theres a guy called tim who supplies body kits that work from NV\'s unit on the farm, would it be worth asking him about a bumper?
ooofff! gotta be careful in an rx they will kick your head in if you start messin around too much. glad your ok tho.
if you get a bumper that doesnt need 99 spec lights i know someone who will have the front lights from you (ME! lol)
If you\'ve got all the bits and a lot of patience then you can rebuild the bumper.

my dad curbed one of my wheels when he lost it and it bent one of the alloys in so that the tyre deflated.
it looked pritty nasty, but a guy on here who lives around st albans area who had a black rx7 with a v8 conversion, got his mate to rebuild the wheel for me and did a very good job.. if i wanted to be picky id need to take it somewhere to get it refurbished so it was shiny again, but he basically rebuilt the wheel so the lip was all flush and a tyre could go on it.
cant remember his name on here, it was over a year ago now.. :/
