Ethan from Holland came to pick up the black beast on Thursday and i could not face the fact that my ownership of a dream car was about to be over....i did not sleep 2 nights before...looked every where for a replacement and in the end had only one choice and that was the silver C-west twin turbo fd that is in for sale section.
I kept looking at Nathan\'s yellow fd that i admired ever since it came up for sale last year. For one last time i was going through his advert and noticed his no there so thought lets give him a ring to and find out if she is still available?? Called nathan on Wednesday and guess what? he was just about to refresh the advert only a day before i called him so arranged a meeting with him to go and view the car on Thursday.
Yes, my beasty was gone at 5pm on Thursday and i was in Southampton at 9pm. Although it needs a bit of TLC nothing major; new rear tyres, brake pads and full service so made him the offer which he did not accept. He wanted to think about it so i told him to let me know....next day i get a call from him to say when can i pick her up? All i said; tomorrow mate on saturday mornning.....
Ok, so you may ask why i did sell my sort after motor in first place? to replace with another?
Well, few reasons;
1....John Yorke, Kash, initial D, Dre, Edds etc:Tongue; what are you going to replace her with? there is nothing as good as fd\'s out there etc etc etc
2... I think my Cricket days are over with an injury that may take time to go.
3... Although its a single turbo too but more fun to drive round town with no issues.
4... life is too fdukn short so enjoy it while you can...:guinness :3gears-rh

Not alot tp be honest...its running GT45 single with mild ported engine(Tim may be able to confirm that) with about 350 @ the wheels so that will stay the same. Drop her down a bit and add a GT wing and tidy up the engine bay and interior. It also came with over 2 grand worth of ICE and i do not like it so that will be up for grabs soon + may replace the knightsports headlight too:Thumbsup!

Carbon is the way forward - huge wing, some canards and a proper diffuser!

Not 100% though, just need to see how much R-majic/KSP sleek lights will be as they are the only ones i will replace them with or stay original pop ups. These are hard to come by but i don\'t like them on yellow...will look good on red or black....
How does the power delivery compare to the old one ? GT45 is a big old beasty !!!

Ohhh Oh its GT35i not GT45 ....
power delivery wise; this one seems to spool up very quick and instant but runs out of puff at round 6k where as the old one was more on top end all day long and will keep going and going.....:Thumbsup! round town this is the one.

The system is very well put together in the fd with modified parcel shelf so i will sell the full unit inc the shelf but will have to p/x your old one to put back in mine. i will get the pics up here soon....

good to hear that she\'s gone to someone who\'ll look after her! I\'ve seen the car at RX Motors several times. That R-Magic kit is, IMHO, one of the best looking kits for the FD and I doubt there is another one in the UK! Nice!
