Hi Guys,
Your expert thoughts and advice are required please:
I noticed that the Air Filter has been getting a bit hot after drives and so I have fabricated a heat shield out of Aluminium that I hope will stop some of the heat that must be comming from the coolant pipe right below the filter, shown in 1st 2 pics.
What are your thoughts?
Secondly, the standard ducting only covers about 2/3 of my SMIC (as shown in second 2 pics) so what would you suggest / what have you done? ie, ducting made to fit??
Thanks guys looking forward to ideas and thoughts.
Cheers
Eddie:Thumbs-up

the heat shield you have made looks good eddie, should do the trick i`d of thought.
Can you not make new ducting for the intercooler? replace the standard one but expands to cover all the intercooler??? Don`t know if it would make much difference though?
Was checking some of the folders on the computer and came across this document I saved years back.
Might be of interest to some.

Good doc there fish !!!
Crazy Eddie I am liking that heat shielding. Need to do something like that myself as my HKS filters get the hot air from the radiator blowing upwards to them !!
