OK, probably borrow is the best thing to do...
I\'m going to be doing lots of engine stuff in the week after next, so will need to remove the 54mm socket on the fly wheel. If there is anyone near guildford that could do a loaner, or would be prepared to stick in the post, I\'d be most grateful!
Cheers
OJ
I\'m not sure if I\'ve still got one I\'ll have a look when I get a chance if I do your welcome to it mate.
A

If i remeber correctly the 56mm is fine to use to get the flywheel nut un done you might want to check though.

*lol* Tis true, and if that don\'t work. I\'ll squat over the engine, squeeze the bolt between my buttocks and spin it off the engine!!! *grin*
I\'ll be about most days mate, or I can pop over its only just down the rd, email me when you need it and I\'ll make sure I get it to you.
Al
well, I am off all next week, so early in the week if that\'s OK???
good luck getting the nut off mate! I had to stick the engine block in the boot of the Chavallier and drive it over to Carl in Newbury to use a combination of his air tools, a bar and a small lump hammer!
It\'s all good fun!
I have a technique that has worked well for me...
1 - drill hole in floor
2 - whack in eye bolt and tighten furiously.
3 - chain engine to floor.
4 - apply socket to nut.
5 - apply 2 ton trolley jack.
If that doesn\'t work, it\'s staying on the car!

Drop me a call on 07775665136, and we\'ll sort out a time prob for Sun, if that\'s OK?

Al
