Well.  She finally went pop.  Well more fut really.  Lost all compression sitting on my driveway as i was about to get the bucket and sponge out.  At least I wont need recovered.:D

Can anyone recommend the best place to get a rebuild kit and how much it is likely to cost please as I quite fancy getting my hands dirty.

Price depends on whats gone wrong but i think the rebuild kit is roughly £1300...as Dan said advertisers at the top of the page would be best bet :)

Now is the time to take stock and think---now what porting and extra power do I want--do I go single etc etc. Take your time and get it right. If you just rebuild it as is then you will have missed the chance to port.
As far as who to do the work I only use RE:WORX and you can see the power I am making from my sig.:wave

I have recently rebuilt my engine, and got the re-build kit off Clive from shy Auto (mazdarotaryparts).  He is a really good bloke and will offer as much help and advice as he can.  The re-build kit I got off him was excellent with all original mazda parts.  I would highly recommend him to anyone.
