Post by: chrisJDM on February 24, 2007, 11:46:28 PM
Ive seen this same boss on quite alot of cheap kits on ebay, is it a load of rubbish that is likely to break? or are they ok?? anyone bought a steering wheel with that boss??

yes i do, soz prob just attached the wrong link, but the ones for the 3rd Gen look very similar, i was just thinking at that price they cant be very good quality, some of the Momo boss\'s cost alot more than that steering wheel and boss together.

Just wondered if anyone had bought one.

I don\'t see why the quality is going to be that bad :xconfused

A boss and steering wheel isn\'t at all complicated, the steering wheel doesn\'t look particularly comfortable but for that price you can\'t complain.  If you were worried about breakages I\'d replace the screws that attach the wheel to the boss (that\'s the only thing I could imagine breaking)

I just bought a genuine brand new Momo boss (not on ebay) for £42 btw so they\'re not that expensive ;) it\'s the steering wheels that are a lot of money

Surely there must be some kind of safety standard they have to pass to be sold?
