New owner of a 1993 UK Spec FD13 RX7 Twin-Turbo, silver and manual.
23yo. Male. 3-points (TS20). 4 years NCB. Parked on driveway. 12000 miles a year. £550 Fully Comp!
With Lloyds TSB Car Insurance.
Paying less for this than my previous car which was a 1989 BMW 535i Sport, blue and manual.
Chuffed. :Viking
That is astonishingly cheap!! Can I just suggest you make sure they have that as an FD and not an FC - certainly Elephant make that mistake, and it means you are not insured. If it\'s correct tho, congratulations - that\'s terrific!!
wicked price, wish mine was that cheap lol
Yeah double check they have the right car there matey as loads of places quote you on an RX7 with an engine size of 2354cc which works out really cheap when they should be quoting on 2616cc (wrong but you can\'t argue with them).
Most places don\'t even have a UK FD on the books. If they have what looks to be a UK model then they will argue that it\'s Automatic and that yours is modified if it has a manual box. Again you can\'t argue with them.
Double check it as you don\'t want something to go wrong and find you\'re uninsured.
I\'m 26, 3 points (PC30), 1 fault accident at £8000, 6 years protected NCB and I think I\'m paying just shy of £500 a year fully comp but limited to 2000 miles. That\'s with the car parked in my back garden behind locked gates as well.
Cheers

that is a sh!t-hot quote!! I\'ve just been provisionally quoted with Flux for £974 for a 92FD, twin-turbo! best one yet by a country mile. (I\'m 22, with 4 years NCB by the way :D)
