Hello each
Could someone please tell me what the different Channels are for?
It has Channel 1, 2, 4 and 8 and if you go into each of these it has various options like water temp, boost etc.

Number of channels = how many parameters the Commander shows in Monitor mode; you can choose to view between 1 and 8 different things, the text size scales inline with how many channels you choose.
Commander instruction manual covers it very clearly, right click and save as - its about a meg:
