Well i have had a problem since i got this car last july... never was an issue before but with all the cold weather and rain its made this problem bloody annoying!!!
The blowers only point at feet with a little bit of air through the door and front ones but they will not change direction no matter where you put the selection. so i can never have any air out of the ones on top of the dash so when my windscreen mists up, i have to pull over, open the windows and manually wipe! its bloody annoying :reallymad
any suggestions??? we have looked around and doesnt appear to be any blockages where the flap thingy is....
have you checked behind the heater control panel to see if the switch is actually connected to anything?
I take it it\'s an FD???? If it is then:
If you get in to the drivers footwell and look up, on the side of the heater system you will see 2 metal bars going to some kift shaped plastic discs..... check the bars are connected as these controle the air direction!!!
If they are all in tact but not moving then the motors on the unit may be nakerd (or simpley unpluged) if you dont have any joy getting it working, remove the bar to the one closest to the bulhead and turn it all the way (clockwise I think, but it is all the way in which ever direction) this will divert the air flow to the screen, then just tape it in that position, or stick it with something!!
