Not sure what it is but the sounds you hear aren\'t necessarily what was on the car :) They can be edited in afterwards.
most likely edited it just wouldnt sound like that clunky gear changes etc.
a friend of mine has a supra tt and a blitz nurspec and full decat and his one sounds just shocking!!! just like the one in the vid just a huge rush and roar at wot, i am now trying my best to mimik it because i currenty have a cat and hks super dragger cat back which is nice at idle but i now realise not great at wot from outside. but i think that tinny sound is just what rexs do right?

yes it is the same car believe it or not. Though it did have many doubles in the second film I believe.
