Title: um broken bit
Post by: gonzoninja on February 19, 2007, 08:25:41 PM
I\'ve managed to break a bit on my FD. I\'m not sure what it\'s called. It looks like some kind of underbody brace. Its the bit that bolts on around by the cat/decat pipe.

As I said I\'ve snapped this.

Now is this the place I would mount a diff brace? i.e. can I buy one and whack it on and that would replace it plus brace the diff?

Do you mean the one that runs accross under the can and is held on with 4 bolts?

Is so then yes the right diffbrace will replace it.

Yeah that\'s what I meant.

I saw a pic on the other thread, and thought that looked about right.

oh and what difference, if any, will not having this on my car for the moment have?

Not a lot really, you might get a little flex but nothing major, i\'d just take it easy till the brace turns up.
