Title: Some pics of my Burnout FD all painted!
Post by: Andy_FD3 on February 17, 2007, 05:50:18 PM
Well, well, well,.... SHE\'S PAINTED!
And I am genuinely over the moon with it. Think it\'s one of the best looking cars Ive been lucky enough to own. Huge thanks go out to Dave, Andy and Lew... again!.. Without you lot, it would still look look like a car that should have been set on fire! Thank you. Im truly grateful.
Anyway, the pics speak for themselves. Sorry there are quite a few of them, just really proud of this one.
Andy

That looks quality! Only thing I\'d say it needs it bringing the wheels out just a touch more.

Looks well but it need Cleaning bad style (got that just been painted look) i also think its a bit low (i personaly don\'t like the wheel in arch look plus it will damage the sills if you go over a Sleeping police man)

Its both, its part of the Burnout kit, you get complete replacement front fenders and the rear part you have to get fitted and blended in

For what it\'s worth, I foam inject them and bond them to the bodywork with polyurethane. They wont go anywhere, should just scrape underneath if Im unfortunate enough to encounter a bump.

The car is purely for pleasure, so doesn\'t suffer any roads I dont already know, really.

Thanks for your comments though, mate. And everyone else. Going to break my heart to sell it now. NEED a house though!....:3Confused

All i have to say is if you sell your car to get a house then you will be sorry.
The guy i originally perchased my car from sold it to get a house and hes asked to buy it back several times since he moved in.

Dont do it.....

Looks lovely mate. Fantastic work =  great result.
It would be great to see it "in the flesh". How about bringing it to the Reading Jap meet on Tuesday.

Your car just looks right. It has an subtlely agressive stance, the perfect look for the streets

Absolutely stunning mate:Thumbs-up Subtle yet agressive, a good combo!

You must be well chuffed.

I just hope the new owner takes her out for the show season so that we can all have a look!

beautiful, really nice.

The only comment I would make is that the wheels nooed some spacers, they are too far inside the arch and then it would be perfect.

the thing I like bsest about the burnout kit is that it blends so well with the shape of the car. It doesn\'t look like something from the star wars set and neither does it look like its got pieces of plastic bolted all over it. For me it enhances and improves the original subtle lines of the car more than any other kit out there.
