Title: Band Expander, which to buy?
Post by: Blitz on February 16, 2007, 01:39:55 PM
Hey Guys,

I have my car a while now, but still have to fit a band expander to my radio. I can see a lot of them on eBay, but I have encountered a few scammers on eBay so I\'m not that trusty on that site.
Should I just go with the cheapest or have you guys a better suggestion? I\'m looking for one that can at least handle 87.5MHz~106MHz.
Let me know what you think, any suggestions/links are welcome!

Cheers

Why not go for a cheap UK stereo...? Could be an easier option and get MP3\'s and such like in your car :)

I would do the same.  Headunits are so cheap these days if you just want something basic.

This is what I got, did the job perfectly:

At £17 its a damn sight cheaper than a new radio.

Just my 2pence.
