right guys....
just fitted a second hand 2 way LSD to my fd, went on perfect and with brand new diff oil all supplied from Dragon, drove it out of the workshop.... not much difference, slight jolts when going round slow corners etc, not a problem, but more or less the same drive as the standard one other than the stupidly good grip on the straights in the wet :D
well 3 miles later and near on close to home, it starts knocking & banging (like quite a few people have said about their lsd\'s) well why would it start doing it then rather than straight away? its really vigerous when turning around and pulling out of junctions and going round slow corners, it also grinds as well instead of just knocking. is this normal? if it is then ill deal with it, but i dont want to be causing damage
any suggestions etc??
if its been stood for a while it may have freed all the plates and its started working normally.
Can i say it please....................... please............ go on let me say it........
lol, well if its normal then thats ok! i just wanna make sure that its gone on ok and it aint damaging it. let the roundabout action begin :D whens the next air field day ?? lol
they do some getting used to, i think mines coming out though so its for sale if anyone wants it.
lol yes i can imagine, go on, i know you want to say it :P
Are they adjustable for slip at all?
Are the 2 way ones much noiser than the 1.5way ones ???
Investigating for next mod (and macky t\'s)
Shaun
