Title: Heat shields on twins???
Post by: Jono FD3 on February 08, 2007, 11:54:55 PM
I\'ve just taken my twins off & I can safely say it would be alot easyer to do if there wasn\'t so many heat shields on the turbos!!!!!

When I refit, do I need to put them all back???? I know they are there for a reson but it all seams a bit belt & braces to me!!!

Please help me save time!!!

They are there for a reason, but an easier method of achieving the same end is to use exhaust thermal blanket, available from motorsport stores.

If you decide to leave them off, it won\'t make a huge difference but would conscider a form of ducting to the pack.
