Hi there everyone... Sorry for asking questions that may have been asked recently but I am after some opions from people who have experience of the various items listed.
I am looking at changing a few parts on the RX7 to improve the way it goes and handles on the road and the occasional track day / drift session. I am on a budget here so I can\'t just go and buy the big brand items at this point.
Has any one got experience of the following items:-
1. XS SMIC - As sold on ebay for £189.00 - Seems really cheap to me, I dont plan on running any more than est 300 BHP. Just want something reliable and to replace my aging IC.
2. TEIN Super Street adjustable coil - As sold on ReWorx for £500 +vat or the D2 ones from Ebay @ approx £650.
3. Exeedy Sport Series clutch - Are these just an OEM replacement for low power cars and road use? What sort of power can you run on one of these?
4. Generic brand single turbo conversion using the manifold listed on ebay and turbo listed on ebay

5. Brake kits - I cant afford a complete upgrade kit including new calipers, so was wondering what options are there for kits with just larger bells, discs and mounts for original calipers?
Think thats about it for now.. If any one can offer adivce on the above that would be great, also if anyone has any of the part listed above for sale even better!

I bought the XS IC changed it after 5 months for a greddy one - fit wasnt good although some have managed,worked ok - wished i had gone for quality name in 1st place instead of by price.
got tein superstreets from clive at shyautos well pleased good price and excellent service ( NOT on commision from clive LOL ).
Better IMHO to do what you can when funds allow and get the best - cheaper in the long run - do it bit by bit

I think I will order those Teins then.... I had a set on my old GTiR and they were solid as a rock in the bend I just lost a few fillings though.. :)
I would love to do the upgrades bit by bit but I have a return visit to the \'Ring planned for April. I need to get these bits done ASAP alone with items such as fuel pump and AFC. I have looked at selling the REX and getting somthing with all the work done but then I have to find a buyer who wants a very basic rex with a few things needing replacing... And that will never happen ;)
