Post by: doris on February 07, 2007, 09:25:51 PM
I am finding coolant in my intercooler, which i am guessing is finding its way in there via the turbo\'s (twins) has anyone come across this before? and could point to a way of fixing it

Are you sure it\'s coolant and not just condensation or a problem with a Water Injection System ( If fitted ).

i thought it may have been condensation but my coolant level is going down, only by a small amount (about a half a mug full) over a period of a fortnight, and no i do not have water injection

It is normal to get Oil in the Stock Intercooler, the coolant loss may be due to other minor coolant leaks, as the twins setup has coolant pipes all over the place.
You need to determine if it is normal water or coolant fluid first.
