quick question...

ive been told the fd r2 is 280bhp, is this atw or fly?

if fly, what is the power atw

As far as I know the Type R2 is 255atf which is about 210-215atw.

The figures I put above are for a standard import. I think the UK spec FD\'s were about 230atf so a little lower than the imports.

My not boosting correctly 1994 Type R2 dynoed at 215rwhp which is about 255bhp. It\'s an import :) 0-60 time is around 5.3s I think.

Its the weight more than anything helps the Jap cars get of the Mark Quicker i know the UK cars are about low to mid 1300kg\'s and the Jap R1/R2 is around the 1250kg it all makes a diffrence if you have a slight power advantage too.

Post 96, 16 bit FDs are 265bhp atf on Jap fuel up from the earlier 8 bit cars that were 255bhp. The 16 bit cars also get an extra 10lb/ft torque :)

Then post 98 are 276+ I\'m sure someone will confirm, maybe 280bhp atf
