Just make sure there is some nice ducting from the front to there. ;)

hoping cold air streaming in through front vent on bonnet will do that - will keep an eye on air temps though

I would just cover the rad fans so that there is no direct hot air coming from them strait on the filters and leave the filters open and as fish said a small ducting will also help.
