Well I finally picked my FD up from Carl\'s this evening.
I\'m still running the "Run-in" map so I\'m limited to 4K revs, but
I\'ve gotta say, it\'s been worth the wait. Looks great, gos great
just a few little niggles to sort out.
My windscreen wash for one, I think it\'s air locked, (any ideas?)
Just want to say thanks to Carl, Jeff and Ian for their hard work!
Rex Airlines is finally open!
Great stuff enjoy the car.
As for washers I take it you have checked full and all pipes are connected?
If they are have a look at the filter in the washer bottle (I think the rex has one most cars do) and clean if required so that the water can get through to the pump easily.:Thumbs-up
Cheers
Eddie
Oh and running in the car in this weather has worked out good timing as by the time you can boot it it might be sunny again!!!! :Giggle
Glad you are pleased with it Jim.
We\'ll sort out any niggles for you when you bring it back down after remap.
Regards
Carl

LOL in other words don\'t start messing with the car like this crazy fool is suggesting you don\'t know what he will make you do!!!!
;) :chat
Nice one mate glad you are pleased with her.
Just remember, just because she is 10+ years old, she is still a Supercar. Treat her with respect and she will let you dress her up with lots of mods and give you lots of BHP in return.
If you consider my Fd and what it\'s worth and all the very expensive other Supercars around there are very few that could even think of showing me there back end.
The FD is one of those fantastic cars that no one knows what it is and think Oh it\'s only an old \'L\' reg, then the beast roars and it\'s all over. I just love it.
Hey Moose, just know your place in the \'Car park\' now ......! :spank
Thanks guys, just delighted to have finally got a hold of one and a good one
at that. Carl, you asked had I driven one before last night and I said no but
i\'d completely forgotten I had a test drive in a 99\'RS which I couldn\'t buy
cos I couldn\'t offload the Merc quick enough. It was a rather dreary day in
Southend and didn\'t really have a chance to enjoy it.
Anyway, I\'ve gotta be off and run her in some more and TRex, my place in
the car park is where everyone else ain\'t! Anyway, methinks they\'ll notice
my bright yellow FD before your Blue one! :Laugh
now that yellow one is out of the way carl can concentrate on my blue one ...ur engine bay looks like new with it all blacked out :mmmm
It does alright, pity the outside of it\'s covered in sh1t from the drive home
last night. I can see much scrubbing in my future!
Had a peek under the cover at your car last night, don\'t worry, she still looks schweet!
Hopefully she\'ll be goin that way too soon.
Just a couple of pics for you with the new wheels on.
Thanks again to Duncan at Toxic Rides (//www.toxicrides.co.uk)
for all his help and the quick and friendly service.
Managed to wash her this evening so I could take a few pictures.
Hope you like...........
