Oh no...none of the original door kept!  They were too heavy!!

The outer skins are carbon and the insides are GRP.....but they are very are a very good copy!  Not sure what the fit is like at the moment...but it look pretty good!  It has all of the bolt holes etc for fitting the locks and handles

Gonna be even better with the lexan windows in!!!!!

They are a nice bit of kit,  you must almost be under that ton!

Are they 15% lighter than the stock doors or do they weigh 15% of what the stock door weighs.

You would have to have a cage to fit these, (which you obviously have) as the stock car is so weak and flimsey that when the door is shut it keeps the chassis straight.  If you jack up one corner of the car with the doors open the doors wont shut properly!

1900 for doors ... WOW ... sohgsouhgosgsgvhyivbwonhmektjuj

sorry couldnt type and fall off my chair at the same time :D :D

you could do with writing up a list of what weight you have saved so far to help other people on here

you have proved my theory wrong though .. its cheaper to make a car lighter than faster ... not with the price of those doors :D :D

What weight are the doors in Fiberglass and what cost.
Just thinking if you have an off it will be an expensive one. The off would not be your fault, oil, kitty tray litter contents, mud or just a pushy Hog.:2Confused

I wouldn\'t think using grp doors without a cage and door bars would be safe :eek

They are some expensive doors! Who made them? Reading through an RX-7 Magazine I came across some for £880 (currently with 10% off so that should cover shipping) for carbon and £528 for FRP left and right...

Said the carbon doors were 6 kilometer (great translation :Giggle ) stock are 27.

The doors are available in 2 forms...you can get C/F skins...which fit straight on to your original doors.

I do agree that most of the weight saving is through not having the large amount of side impact protection....but my cage is rather comfortating...so I\'m not that worried about that :D

They aren\'t that expensive....they are made by Seibon, but the good thing is the quality...Im sure we have all seen a number of body kits that seem cheap until you try to fit them ;)  The quality is amazing

The weigh in at 6.5kgs each....but thats me holding on to them as it isn\'t easy to put them on the scales!

I\'m going to weigh the standard doors on Monday evening....but I can hold both of these in one hand.....cant with one of the other doors!!!

For reliability we are as powerful as both Carl and I are happy to go with, so the only other options are to lose weight and get the handling that little bit better.
