I know some of you (me included) were interested in getting a triple gauge pod for your centre speaker (in dash)...
Some of you have been trying to get hold of a guy called FlyRX7 who makes such pods... ( his site (http://hometown.aol.com/flyrx7/Rx7-Gauge-Pod.html) )
I got an email back from him recently... here\'s what it said.... (basically, he\'s making them again, on a first come first served basis)...

he has shelved making these due other commitments and will only be doing limited nos in the future i gather..shame as its a top bit of kit need someone with the know how to make them here for the same price as they are in demand it seems
get on to gary at rotary arts, he might be intrested in this. i think he has a good, fibreglass guy etc

Have you heard anymore from him at all? Remind him there are a number of people in the UK willing to part with cash now for a group buy perhaps?
He told me he is not goign to start producing RHD ones till the third quater fo this year so July / August time.

He\'s prolly making loads of kit for other cars, so I doubt the promise of a few for us poor folks here will do much...

p.s. Thanks to Kevin for sticking up for me :) He has pod #15 ever made. If he\'s that happy with it they\'re 5 times better now (if you can get your hands on em that is :)

Yes....in fact I\'m going to be offering a 60mm Bi-Pod real soon also. Just going over final details tonight. You guys are the first to know and you\'ve heard it here first.
52mm pods are in limited production right now, due to the fact of other contract work. After the contract work is done then I\'ll be full steam ahead on 60mm and 52mm pods, LHD and RHD, in 2,3, and 4 pod versions, as well as some 60-52mm combo units.
It might take a couple months for the 60\'s to roll off, but some RH 52mm pods will be coming off real soon. These are for the folks that got on the waiting list first.

When would i need to pay if i put myself on the waiting list for the RH 60mm tri-pod? Is it payment instantly and wait on the list? deposit of some sort? How much would the total cost be inc. shipping too?
I havent got my rex yet as it\'s still on the boat from japan, so having to wait a couple of months is ideal :)

No deposits or pre-payment necessary.
Shipping to the UK, with insurance, is $28 USD.

After getting banned after only 3 posts (which have all been deleted apparently), I guess I have to be careful what I say on this forum.
I just wanted to let you guys know that I check in here from time to time.
I did a web search and noticed my name popping up over here in a couple threads so I thought I\'d take a look around. Some interesing reading.....
It appears that some people were interested in how to get a hold of me, as previous attempts weren\'t yielding results, so I thought I\'d post the best method to do so. Guess I can\'t do that. Indidivuals had a question on shipping. I guess I can’t answer that either.
So....if anyone needs to talk to me, you can do a search, my screen ID used here would be a good start.

Dude, I\'ve got a pod from FlyRX7 which I\'m selling - its a triple 52mm pod, was only in my car for a week, then the engine blew... so its up for sale cos the car has gone!

Thanks for the offer, but I\'m actually after a 60mm triple. I\'m sure someone on here will want it though :)
For anyone else who may be interested in these, I\'ve just had a reply back from FlyRX7 to say that he has the following in stock and ready to ship, for right hand drive cars:
tri-pods for 60mm gauges
quad-pods for 60mm gauges
quad-pods for 52mm gauges
Also, for those needing left hand drive he has some 52mm gauges in stock and some 60mm ones in production and nearly ready.

My 60mm triple gauge pod arrived last Thursday... Not fitted yet, but well impressed with the quality :Thumbs-up
