Title: what size resistor for 1680cc injectors on PFC? help needed
Post by: richard cash on January 24, 2007, 04:23:32 PM
Ive been looking on rx7club.com and there have been some debate about whether to use a resistor or not with the low impedance injectors (1680cc bosch top fed ones). Apparently the PFC uses a low corrent driver of less than 2A and so a resistor is needed to reduce the current to below this.

There are lots of people running 1600/1680\'s over here so i just wondered what you have done about your electrics regarding resistance and current.

Any help would be welcome including where to buy some decent resistors from

I had them fitted but cannot remember the resistance asa it was so long ago, but I think Carl was going to take them out for some reason.

The best place for them is RS Components (//www.rswww.com). They even do those nice ones in the metal heatsink case.
