Title: oil flush, good or bad idea??
Post by: richard cash on January 23, 2007, 12:16:55 PM
I just wondered if it was ok to run an engine flush to clean the oil deposits etc around other parts of the rex. Ive had then engine and turbo rebuilt but i was thinking more about the oil coolers.

I was speaking to a mechanic the other day and he said it makes the oil very runny, like water. This made me think about whether it would be good for the engine but if i put some premix in the car it should be alright yes??
