Post by: JUN on December 20, 2003, 02:47:49 PM
hey all, does anyone know best place for four wheel alignment in hampshire area??
my car is steering left to right all the time, but for some reason doesnt seem like tracking, its more of a pulling side to side, handling is way off.

Blandford Tyres (in Blandford oddly enough) - excellent! RX Motors put me on to them and they really sorted my FD out. Did the tracking and the alignment  in all 4 corners using their lazer thingies (technical term). Cost me £60. Bargain.

Click on this link for the details...

I\'ll be going back there when I get my new boots fitted (F1\'s of course).

& fraid i dunno how much it will cost for them to do a FD i had used them on the scoob the other year so was planning on using them when i get car kill jap rubber & stick new boots on, they did say they couldn\'t tell me how much it\'d cost as it wood depend on car. Jun so any idea why they usually cost more i had it in my head they were quite easily adjusted but my knowledge is rather sparse (http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/ups/sicdeth/headscratch.gif) lol

hi rotorboy, im just outside of portsmouth, off the A3, i popped in to RE worx (or known as GPA) and they said there should be some people that will know some good ones.

hey scoobi_si it cost more cuz there are more adjustments to it.
but seemslike some people prob got better deals out there to do the same job, cuz this wheel place near me is the only decent one, but charging at over £100 so far :(

Jun - Blandford\'s not THAT far away from you and as I say, they only charged me £60, and did a top notch job. V friendly & helpful and gave me a full report on what was done.

Leigh - definately up for that. Not much of a scene to crash in Bournemouth but it\'d be good to do the circuit in several FD\'s. Certainly turn a few heads. I know a few pubs we can make use of too... :rollin

If you want to use the one in Blandford, click on the link I provided on page 1. That\'ll take you to Yell.com who very kindly provide a map. If you zoom out you can get an idea of where it is in relation to the major trunk roads. :)

Have a great Xmas. :wave
