Title: Insurance for storage
Post by: imebgo on January 16, 2007, 12:20:41 PM
I want to insure a car when its in storage over the next few months, where I will be working on it.  My current policy does not cover this, is there any extra cover I can get for storage at a different address to my own?

Ok, the storage is on a friends yard, so one way to do it is to put it on his building or contents insurance, and I guess just pay him the premiums?

Not so sure about that.........

If the car is going to be at the address for a few months try changing you address details, say your are moving house to the specific address......

Just remember how crappy insurance companies can be, so be carefull whatever you do....
