Title: Coolant feed to turbos..
Post by: RedRummy on January 16, 2007, 11:59:35 AM
Hi,

can someone describe what the coolant feed to the turbo on a Type R twin turbo set up looks like..

Preferably with a diagram or something...

I have a suspected coolant leak around the turbos, but am having trouble getting it recovered to Re:Worx.. and I can\'t drive it..

If it a simple hose or some such I could maybe fix it myself... (god forbid!)

Can\'t find a suitable diagram on here, or on http://www.fd3s.net/cooling_system_troubleshooting.html (http://www.fd3s.net/cooling_system_troubleshooting.html)

Ok from memory (correct me if i\'m wrong) The Turbo Water feed pipes are the Two on the right in this pic (on the alloy Water pump housing) the one on the Rear plate is the Throttle body Coolant pipe.

LOL... you\'re kidding, right?

no?

oh bugger!

Thanks for the pic :Thumbs-up  ... I\'ll try and match it to what I\'ve got....

(and the idea of going single tub and losing the rats nest is becoming more and more appealing!!)
