Title: rex with no power PLEASE HELP

hi there all,

i purchased a 93 type R FD, with 60k on clock, has new 96 engine in but when you pull away, the car doesnt have as much power as it should..

there is no smoke or knocking, the only thing i hear is a wooshing noise, then a sound like a mini dump vaule,

Please could you help me figue out what this is as im worried!!!!!!

thank you for the speedy reply chaps, unfortunenty i work 7 days a week at the mo,,,,,,,,,,

Got the car in newcastle, loverly car i might ad...

IS THIS AN EASY PROB TO FIX

yes, check for any split or disconnected boost pipes/hoses

loose jubilee clamps etc
