Title: Greddy Boost Gauge
Post by: nikp on December 19, 2003, 02:14:41 PM
I\'m starting to sway away from the idea of having a turbo timer, and am instead considering a boost gauge. I currently have a Greddy Oil Temp gauge installed, so figured that I should stick with the same make.

So....does anyone have any idea where I can get a Greddy Boost gauge from (Both Mechanical and electronic as I haven\'t decided which to get yet!! )

Also, how much would I be looking at, and how dificult are the respective types to install.

Cheers for the help!

Nik

seens your deciding between a turbo timer and a boost gauge, why not get both in one! when mine was brought over it had a blitz dual turbo timer which was also a digital boost gauge!
personaly i think its wise decision to have a turbo timer, could save you a lot of dollar in the long run!:)

I was going to get the blitz one, as it seemed such good value for money what with having a boost gauge too. But it seems that many people have problems with turbo timers and their alarms, and I suspect I would have a similar problem, and that is why I\'m going away from the idea of the turbo timer.

Nikp,

What alarm you got ?

i have a clifford consept 600 on mine it has this feature on there where you can press a programmed button on the key fob and the car will still be running with the key out. Can alarm it at this point too, it turns off after about a minute and a half, or u can turn it off by pressing the button on the key fob.

I can\'t quite remember the model, but it\'s a Toad alarm! Not much help I guess, but I still have the instruction manual, so I shall have a read of that tonight! Bedtime reading!! :p
