Title: steering wheel boss
Post by: D1 WTF on January 10, 2007, 08:57:10 PM
i need a steering wheel boss that is as narrow as possible, i need it to mount my quick release boss off.  so i dont want to put the wheel into my ribs.  i want it to be as narrow as possible as long as it will attach my boss.

this is the quick release

I\'m after one too for the same reason!

My last 2 RX7s had really stubby ones so it needed a spacer or you would indicate/use the wipers every time you had to turn. Does anyone have one? Swap for a full size (After D1 has his)

Cheers.

I used the standard boss...it works well when you have a smaller stearing wheel as it keeps your fingers from knocking against the stalks.  Its actually a better driving position when your arms are bent...more control over the wheel.

I got an OMP 300MM one but it\'s far too close. I\'ll find a pic.

(http://www.carpron.com/multisite/d/115633-2/DSCN0255.JPG) not the best pic to show how close it is but i think it\'s too close.
