errrr they are not the orig wheels - but i could find a good home for them :D
Are they not the BBS wheels from a cab?
yup :D
hence finding them a nice new home
Looks like this was the car that belonged to Kirsty, very nice IIRC. Moonwrap is the person to ask - she had a good look at it.
Stu.
I have a set of mint BBS wheels with as new tyres, how much are they worth to you ??
[this is going to be fun]::Giggle

Yes that certainly looks like Kirsty\'s old car. I remember it winning the Best 2nd Gen at JAE 2005 and it had the TII cabriolet BBS alloys on it rather than the Egi ones.
I remember it being in stunning condition especially for the mileage it had done (90K)! In fact it\'s hard to believe from its minty condition it has covered the mileage it has!

If Stu doesn\'t come up with a figure you like the sound of please PM me! :D
I\'ve been after a minty set for my 40,000 miles cab for a while as mine had already parted company with it\'s original set when I bought it.
I have managed to find a set to refurb - but one is a bit dubious :(

here\'s some pic\'s of my wheels [click the pic]
now they do look clean........
Thanks Tony
and i have\'nt had time to clean them yet [ did you bid for that red vert on e-bay sold £280]
no, there were no pictures and i think a vert roll bar is gonna be different to a coupe, although i would have bought it to break if i didnt already have a crashed TII on the drive!
why didnt i see that car ???
Cos you were searching for £50 and under? :D
i found it eventually - it was pretty poorly from the write up !
nice car and the rims suit it. much more classy look/
I was lucky enought to be able to use the 17" BBS rims that came with my FD. Roll on warmer weather ill be cruising around in my near mint FC3C!!!
i bidded on it but not enough for his reserve, what value would you put on this car roughly as he emaild me asking for me to make an offer:3Confused
ask him what the lowest price he would execpt for the car , if you think its somewhere near what you want to pay tell him thats over your budget and offer a bit less,
The price for the car is all about condition and history, if the car is as good as it looks, , i would think around £1500-£2000 as these cars are making nothing at the mo. in the future the prices can only go up as they are getting rarer. if you want a comparision a not very good [rusty] MGB would go for £3000 and a good one up to £10,000.
at the end of the day its how much you want the car and how much you can afford? hope this helps
Grant
yeah as Grant said and if it does turn out to be as good as it looks and it runs like a good un then this car is worth more than your average FC. These cars are well coool so you might fall in love with it, but whatever you do for god sakes get under it and check for rust lol
i think its on the autotrader at the moment, cant remember price but sure I saw it earlier.
not the same one, on autotrader there\'s a B reg 1982 for £2500 and two together at the same garage [a red and a grey one] with similar wheels but they are down south not Scotland. [not unless you know different]
ah it\'s gone now - i think it was up for 1500 - 1600 though.
they was a fully spec\'d one on the trader for 1550 i think , drfit spec , full roll cage etc...
