Cheers guys,

Its the best picture i have of it, since i got it i have been driving so no time to take pictures of it. I did put rediculiously small plates on it and got pulled by the coppers the other day so its standard reg plates for me this week!!

How long do you have to wait on yours dan? I had to wait almost three months..

Mine should be here at the end of jan....so fingers crossed only have to wait 2 months.

Is the car what you expected i.e. performance wise?

Cheers,

Dan!!

At least you will miss the worst of winter, which is a good thing, the back end likes to come round and join you at the front if you put to much power down, i haven\'t spun it but i have had it powersliding (didn\'t mean it but it looked like i did!)

Having never even driven one before i ordered it i didn\'t really know what to expect. But it is awesome, i am converted! Im sure you won\'t be dissapointed!!

I used to be well in to my lancia delta\'s. I was going to buy an intergrale evo1 but my brother in law persuaded me to get an rx (didn\'t take much!!)

With the mods its supposed to have 280bhp but i will reserve judgement until i get it on the rr i\'m booked for in february.

Is this your first rx7?

Yea ,its my first rx7 and i cant wait.

I\'ve wanted one ever since i first saw one when i was like 14 years old (i\'m 24 now), and finally i\'m gonna own one.

Cant wait to go to some shows and meets in it next year and meet some other club members.

See you at some meets in 04 !

Yeah, enjoy it when you get it!

Don\'t want to sound preachy, but do treat it with respect until you get used to it as the back end really does like to step out, i had mine in third gear doing about 50mph and floored it and the back wheels just started spinning.

The guys that imported mine were telling me that they sold one to a guy who crashed his an hour and a half after picking it up and he was going in a straight line and floored it, he ended up in the central reservation.

thats the problem with scotland, the roads are always wet!!!

Cheers for now!

:)

Alright dave,

Mods as follows..

Arc airbox, after market intercooler and hardpipe kit.
Knight boost controller.
Headlight air intake.
Strut braces front and rear.
Split rim aloys 235 at the front and 255 at the back.

Thats what i know about, don\'t know if its got an upgraded ecu or anything similar as everything was in japanese, but thats the obvious stuff.

i\'m getting it on a rr 1st of feb so will find out if its got any hidden surprises then!!

How about your car?

Here is a picture.

Donato

I got your seats and you got mine i think, you got it from JVS didnt u?

Glad your pleased with it, i drove mine back to essex, that was a bit of an experience!

Hope u r coming down this way for a few meets in the future.

Cheers Scooby,

Gman, i did indeed get it at JVS and thanks for the seats, those bride race seats looked nice but pretty impractical for me as i use my car everyday. I give my grandad a lift home a few nights a week and its funny enough trying to get him in and out the standard seat!!

Did you take the half roll cage as well?

Thats some distance to travel to get a car, my brother in law really liked the yellow one you bought. Nice car.

I may well get my arse down there next year when the weather is better!

Cheers

Hi Donato, good to see you made it over to this site :)

RR Day should be good as we\'ve got some big powered cars planning on attending now (waiting for confirmation before adding them to the list).

If you are ever through this way at the weekend give me a shout and I\'ll take some better pictures of your car for you :)
