hi just had my rex broke into over xmas and the thieving scumbags :2Mad vandalised my door lock just wondering were i minght get a new lock from if i get my hands on them they will look like this:flamed
I think mazda can supply them from what I hear.
BY the way how did they get in? Broken window or fiddling with lock? Didn\'t the alarm go off?

thanks for replies will have to shop around for locks dont know many breakers around the chesterfield area which minght have a rex in if not can get one of pip for £35 + vat is that ok price wise never had to buy one before ! they got in with screwdriver then alam must have gone of and scared em of bunch of muppets thanks for the help and replies cheers

i got a set of door locks of rx motors for £50 posted
mazda want £35 + vat for a door lock with key special order only though so up to a week

I would say you want an Alarm like mine (only got to walk past it and it goes off) but this is only good for a day or so until it goes off at 3am then 3.15 then 3.30, so you turn it off :(
Mate of mine has a good one, if he leaves his car for any time he Blue tacks two colour coded 1p\'s to his Lock face (so you can\'t see them at night) The scum bags think must think its been delocked (lets face it they are Dumb and easly fooled)
cheers grizzly i,l get a couple of 1p,s sprayed up and put them on i guess what ever alarm i put on it if they want it the,ll get it or if not damage the car trying to get it saw a good idea on tv once about car crime in south africe this geezer attatched two flame throwers underneath his car so when anyone tried to steal car they got fried think i minght look on internet for a couple ! he he thanks for help
What a pity everyone know about the flame throwers. I wish people would rather remember that 600 people were murdered for their cars in one year.

i guess people only remember the flame throwers cos people go out to work to have nice things in life and when some thieving so and so thinks its a good idea to try and steal you car thats all you think about and they dont remember the stats that 600 people a year are murdered for their cars ! thats life there will allways be someone out there who steals cars and why shouldnt we think that if we got our hands on them what we would like to do to them to rid this scum from our society !!!!!
since I\'ve had my alar, fitted, I never use the key hole (remote central locking) so I might consider de-locking it in future.... that\'d confuse the buggers
tbf am surprised most half wit theifs know how to break in to a rx7 most of my mates cant even find the handle to get in the car when its unlocked never mind try to break in!
