I\'m taking my TII into WGT tomorrow to get a couple of bits fitted and figured I may as well get them to give it a good old service while it\'s there.
Other than oil and other fluids what would a major service tend to entail?
coolant flush?
I\'d also get the following done:
Spark plugs, air filter (either clean or replace, depending on what you\'ve got). Alignment check and possibly belts.
I\'d get the brake & clutch fluid checked as well, that should be replaced every years anyway (apologies if you\'ve included that in "fluids" already).
what bits you getting fitted then ??
anything nice
its the meet on monday if you can make it - would be nice to see another TII there :D

Well embaressingly it\'s probably some bits that are rudimentary to fit - an HKS SSQV and intake kit. I figured I\'d get WGT to do it and give the car a good once over at the same time as I think theres a slight leak from the turbo return pipe.
Are they a good place to take FC\'s to?
Hopefully i\'ll be able to make Monday, I know I said i\'d come to the last one but I just forgot :D
Major service would be a long the lines of :-
Change Oil
Replace Oil filter
Replace Air element
Replace Fuel filter
Inspect G/Box oil
Inspect Diff oil
Inspect Brakes
Change Brake fluid
Inspect belts and replace in needed
Replace spark plugs
Inspect Aircon
Check Tyres for even wear
(Things I can remember from the Dealers guide, also some items will be dependant on what has been done when if the car has not been serviced according to the Mazda schedule)
bov and intake are a nice start i suppose
i fitted mine myself - i cant see the point of paying labour rates when its only a 20 min job for each one :D
i have put a thread up about the meet aswell :D

just knowing my luck i\'d completely naff something up :D I\'ve only just worked out how to take the head unit out - to be confronted with wiring spaghetti courtesy of a previous owner!
thanks everyone :) I figure since my gearbox is a bit stiff and clunky i should get the oil changed in it too.
always worth checking :D
i love when people wire in head units - always takes you 3 hrs to sort out
if its the stock mazda harness you can get an adaptot for £4 from CPC in preston
well it\'s come back and i\'m glad to say pip said it\'s a very decent car all round - also has some kind of aftermarket diff which I wasn\'t aware of?
it feels very nice to drive and all my fears are gone :)
see you on monday grinder :D
i hope so matey - nice to meet a fellow owner
mine is on charge ( not moved in 4 weeks ) and it needs some juice
just hope the weather holds out now
