I\'ve been on their website but the comments on http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/ haven\'t exactly been positive enough for me to buy anything from there...

I had a pair of the 6x9\'s in my old RX7.  I was really impressed with them.  Mine were the 1000w version and only cost me £49.  I got them when the company was first starting out.  No complaints from me.

ive decided to stick with Alpine all round, now have alpine head unit and alpine type R speakers front and rear, sounds really good.  Dont think im gona bother with a sub, adds too much weight :Tongue1

stay away from this make, heard and see bad things from these. no 6x9\'s on earth could handle 2000w . i run two jl 13w7 of a single 1000 watt amp and this is enough to rattle a house window from 50 meters away!!.

vibe, alpine, kenwood and mutant will be a better option for this kind of price plan.

have fun

blimey i had forgotten about this thread, was back in feb 07 :)

in the end i went for alpine all round which im happy with, good sound quality.  I have sort of forgotten about the whole audio thing and havent got any subs or anything just spent the money on the engine instead :Ladys-man

A mate of mine has got a set of those 6 x 9s and the quality isant anything special, and they cost alot of money, i think to get the bass you would need to put them in boxes aswell.

just because it has a big wattage claim doesnt mean there any good gor for the normal components in the front 6x9s in the back and when not on track get an active sub box with built in amp for the boot

2000 watts lmao.

That must me MPPO ( Momentary Peak Power Output ) I use that term to describe speakers that have claims like that as they will probably handle that kind of power for a second before they go pop.
