Title: HKS intake fitting
Post by: R32 Nik on December 27, 2006, 02:06:17 PM
Hi guys,

I am fitting the HKS intake etc that I bought from Antnikuk to Sarahs TII and I was just wondering what to do with the pipe that comes from the air pump as there is nowhere for it to connect to the new intake. All the other pipes have somewhere to connect to but not this one. Do I just leave it venting to air or do I have to cap it off somehow?

Any ideas please?

Cheers

Nik

Hi Nik

i thought there was a big pipe coming off it that was blocked or is that for the dumpvalve.

All sorted. I phoned Jimmy\'s and found out that you just need to put a filter of some sort over the end of the pipe. So a small piece of gauze later and we are all fine and dandy :D

I will get a proper filter for it at some point, but that will do for now.

Get hold of a crank case beather filter, they are cheap and do a good job.
