currently running a freshly rebuild geunine 500bhp t88 with supporting mods at 1 bar, i only use it at weekends so was thinking of getting it mapped on race fuel and only use race fuel with it...(might aswell get the best out of her if its a weekend toy-)
i found this website what ron would yous go to 105 unleaded??

Gosh, only run it on race fuel.
Don\'t know the answer to your question but 105 sounds good ...... kinda mid range.
My FD was mapped with 98 ron and I guess in a perfect world I would always run it on 105 for track days, sadly usually too disorganized to get race fuel on a regular basis .......... I have tried using a higher octane and although it was ok on track it hated it driving home afterwards .... missing like crazy.
If you have it mapped for 105 surely the problem is if you ran low on fuel and had to use pump fuel which would not be a good idea ....... surely.

Dont know what the regulation is but certain types of race fuel are illegal for the UK roads.
Quite how they would enforce it is another matter!
Cool Blue is 106 octane and suitable for mixing with normal pump fuel.
It is also unleaded so is legal for the road.
It is also expensive.
