Right im needing to change my front tire as they are rubbing on the back of the arches and when the car bottoms out they touch the top of the arches as well. Currently ive got TOYO Proxie 18/235/40\'s on but am wanting to go lower profile. My question is would 18/225/35\'s fit , I think my alloys are 8.5" wide. Ive not got much idea when it comes to tires so any help would be appreciated.
A 225 should fit but they would be strecthed i belive. The other thing you could do, if you have the clearnce, is to fit a small spacer to bring it away form the rear of the arch.
