Title: Injectors & BHP
Post by: nicksterrx7 on December 17, 2006, 02:06:32 PM
Guys I found this useful table on the web.  It indicates possible primary and secondary injector configurations for the BHP that you are looking for.  It\'s at the bottom of the page:

http://www.turborx7.com/fuelsystem.htm

Really useful.  Anyone know where I can get some 1200 cc secondary injectors from?

Interesting to read that running beyond 85% is not a major concern. Confirms what I thought and shares my experiences with other jap cars I have had that will happily run in the 90\'s.

Don\'t use 1200 injectors they tend to be uprated 850\'s and have cost a few engines.

The problem injectors are the 1300\'s, not the 1200\'s.

I Have read horror stories of flowed 850 to 1200\'cc of these sticking open. This is why I have decided for me just to push the limits of the stock non-sequentials and fueling system. Beyond that I a m into big money for single and fueling. I would like to acheive 350rwhp which I think has been acheived.

Nik some of the 1200\'s are also bored out 850\'s if your going for 1200\'s then make sure they are genuine ones.

yeah, i know. But my understanding is that the 1200\'s are not the problem ones. I have the bored out 1200\'s. The problem exists because of the wall becoming too thin and it breaks down and the injector fails. 1200 don\'t have such a thin wall as the 1300\'s.

I believe it was a certain brand who used the 850 injectors as a base.

You can get pretty much what size injector that you want which is made as what it is sold as (ie 1000 cc is made origonally as this etc.)

I was talking to a guy ;)  who said I could have 2,800cc + if I wanted but I thought it overkill! :Giggle
