I have seen what seems to be a couple of good examples on ebay/autotrader, low mileage etc.
I know how limited a diagnosis can be from just a small write up and a couple of pictures, however I thought that perhaps, people with a lot more experience with these cars would be able to see something I couldn`t.
Perhaps if you get the chance you could take a quick look at these items on ebay and let me know what you think, I would be very gratefull:

Had a look at both, and the second one out of the 2 looks better. But if im being honest neither looks perticularly good examples and without rebuilds could end up costing you a fortune to put right.
I think you would be best off buying from someone on here (or on FDUK), and getting one with a rebuild already done,
Like this one advertised a few weeks back;

Its a good time of year to buy, but dont be in a rush and hold out for a good one, they do come along eventually.:Santa
HTH.:cheers
agree with gandy completely
My advise would be too buy one of here as well. No offence but getting an rx7 of Ebay isnt the best idea esp as you need to know more about these cars than just your avereage car. As said above rebuild is Important as it could cost you heaps to get done on a car that hasnt had it.
I bought my very first one of here back in August after about a month or two looking around and would recommened that anyone looking for one does the same.
Thanks for the advice!!
Yea I think I would much prefer to buy from someone on here, seems alot more sensible!!
Is it always best to go for one which has already had a rebuild, rather than one with low miles which hasn`t?
Thanks, Locks
yup, some of the seals break down and fail with age rather than milage. but i\'m no expert!
Many thanks mate, happy to accept any advice!!
Leedslad makes a good point. My own engine has just gone to that big rebuild house in the sky (Rotechnics). while chatting with the owner down there he was saying that people often bu low mileage early cars as a \'bargain\', only to find that shortly afterwards their waterseals go and a rebuild is needed.
Far better to purchase a car that has had a rebuild. Often with other cars, people think that a rebuild means that the car has been thrashed. This is not the case (it can be) more often than not. A rebuild by a reputable tuner should be your preferred option.
I think Dragon or ReWorx have a rebuilt single turbo, standard looking car up for sale at the moment for the rediculous price of £5995. Take a look.
Thanks Nick, good advice!
Think I will pay Dragon a visit in the near future, have seen they have a couple for sale on their site!
