Car has just passed the MOT then on the way back the wiper motor desided to give up!!!! There has been a squeeking for a while, I thought it was the wipers on the screen making the noise, but I just lifted them off the screen to set them back to the park position & found that it is the wiper mec that is making the noise & stopping the wipers from mooving!!!
Any sujestions???

Had a similar thing on my A3 not sure if they are the same type.
The mec has a brass insert one on each side that they pivot on mine had corroded when i took it appart cleaned it off put it back all worked fine,it does not need to be oiled,dry type

Just found out that the centre mec has seased solid!!!! Think I have one on the spair shell, but I hope the motor hasnt fried when it jammed!!
