BIG SNAIL!!!!!! have you spec\'d any of the supporting mods? Fuel, I/C, MAP sensor etc

The 45 is more than capable of supplying boost, its all about tuning for real power figures fella.

Best of luck though, I like the idea of a 45 on an FD!!! Yum Yum

You might find it somewhat laggy if you have a mild streetport though. The big Garrett turbos (most of which are really truck turbos) need a lot of flow to spool up, big ports will happily run big tubbys

That said, the GT\'s do have the slight benefit of ball Bearings so BAT is going to be lower than the equivalent bushing turbo.

i think that would be quite laggy as mentioned

i have a gt35/40 which creates 380 rwhp on a Turbo II engine so would give more on an FD. I get full boost at about 3600 ish rpm.

I think I have found this turbo on ebay,

Is that what your going for still?  How are you going about sourcing the rest of the stuff? manifolds etc..?

I was looking at a complete kit but im edging towards seperates from ebay and various sources.
