Title: Fitting Stock Front Fogs
Post by: dazpoynter on December 05, 2006, 06:39:29 PM
Have managed to get hold of some standard front fog lights with the brackets and had a quick look at fitting them at the weekend.

After a few attempts i realised that they are not a simple bolt on as the size of them don\'t fit through the bumper.

Was wondering if i have to take the bumper off to fit them correctly.

Any help or advice would be great.

They should fit fine...I bought some and they looked easy to fit. I\'ll try and remember to have another look this weekend.

I decided to leave them off as they block the opening for the radiator somewhat.

I\'m assuming you have a pre-99 spec bumper :)

I know they are mounted to the front sort of crash brace behind the bumper, i think with either four or two bolts in each.

Yes i have a pre-99 spec bumper, i think i can see the holes where they are suppose to sit and fit its just no matter what i do i can\'t get them to fit through thats why i said about taking off the bumper.
