Title: radiator fans cut in point
Post by: rx-paul on December 03, 2006, 10:24:29 AM
hi i need to know the temp the radiator fans should kick in at? before i had the power fc fitted my knightsport ecu made the fans kick in early so that the temp gauge didnt read over 85 even in traffic. but iv noticed the tempa been going up past 90 before the fans kick in which is worrying coz iv also noticed that the intake temps have been as high as 60

any help would be apreciated.

The standard kick in point on stock ecu is 94 or 95. You can alter the kick in point on the PFC ( but I don\'t know how to do it, someone on here will )
In the mean time all you need to do is switch you AC on and fan blower and it will put the fans on, as it has an override that automatically switches on your rad fans when the AC is on. HTH.:mmmm
