Title: Water Injection
Post by: nikp on November 29, 2006, 02:30:24 PM
Just out of interest.....what would be a good water injection kit to go for?

I might want to run more than 1 bar boost, and have been told that i\'d need water injection to do so safely. Therefore, what kits are out there, what options do i have?

Hi Nik, each to there own and everyone has different views. But i was told if you go above 1.2 bar you should really use it. My car is mapped at 1.2 on the high boost setting this is without water injection. And have had no problems :wave
Water wont hurt i guess, but i wouldnt say you need it. :bandit

It was mapped by Gary Gooding, and knock is between 25 and 32.

100psi pump was on offer they may still do it.  Is a very nice bit of work
