just wondering who is the best person to talk to at a plan and what there direct number is. im getting fed up of keep being transferred to different office etc!

hope you dont mind me asking but did they give you a good qoute? im 24 with 6 years no claims with a fairly modified fd but cant seem to find anything under £1500. got to be someone out there who can help me!

Yeah mine was just under 600, fairly modifed too and I\'m 27 with 5 or 6 years no claims (cant remember at the mo).

Cant believe there are so many different numbers.
The one I quoted is on the top of one of my letters but reckon any should be ok.
Good luck mate, the main thing is A-Plan are a brokers I think and the actual insurance is done with other companies. Mine is with A-Plan but insurance is with Ensign.
A-Plan use Markerstudy as one of their underwriters, and they kick ass

Ah i see , so i would be correct in thinkin that "neil at thatcham is just the thatcham branch of a-plan?

Neil is the chap I spoke to, but essentially anyone there will do. I am after some kudos because I have to renew at the end of this week so if you speak to Neil directly, you could tell him I referred you. That might help my bank balance at the end of this coming week, and may possibly make a difference for you too ?

I have tried a great deal of insurers over the last couple of weeks, none came anywhere near A-Plan.
If I hadn\'t have moved to NW6 from Surrey, my renewal would have been less than £650 !!
Bit bugged at that really, they said that the average cost of a claim up around London is considerably more than where I used to live.
Oh well, the Rex is worth it as we all know !!
hi guys this is my first thread-if it works!!! i cant beleve your all happy paying over £500 quid! Im with warwick davis number is 08717502107(they are brokers) i pay £290 fully comp with 6yrs no claims and no convictions car is slightly modified with the usual alloys, full exhaust system, few power mods,etc i also have agreed value on the vehicle.i also live in cornwall and the car is kept in a garage which probably helps.
right tried warwick davis, no good unfortunately and tried a plan who came back at 875! which i was a bit dissapointed with and that was without an agreed value on the car......... hmmm. did mention you though simon! maybe if you talk to them you could get them to lower it a bit! ha

Hmm, not the best quote in the world.
Better than the 1500 you mention higher up though. And don\'t forget, A-plan are one of a handful of insurers who will insure under 25\'s on an imported performance car. I am sure you know that though :-))
That must be the best you have had so far ? Does that include protected ncb also, that will push up the cost by at least £50 ?

well decided to go for it in the end.unfortunately im just gonna have to pay it until i hit 25 but its costing me more now to have one than when i had my first one at 20! and ive had three now! nevermind......................
anyway spoke to the guy again (neil) and he said that you should defo give them a call as your renewal is up soon! ha ha
