Title: Slippin everywhere
Post by: jay on December 08, 2003, 12:36:57 PM
Unfortunately my OS Giken twin plate is beggining to give up on me. So I\'m in the market for a new one. I dontreally want to go for a twin again as i feel it may not be worth the aggro. I\'m runnin Power FC, Blitz front intercooler, HKS induc and runnin only 0.7 bar. I dont plan on doin a great deal else to it so I was even thinkin about goin standard..... Any ideas as to price, where from would be great:)

I\'m having a heavy-duty single plate fitted in my FD at the moment - slight power mods meaning that keeping the stock one isn\'t a good idea (apparently).

It depends on what you\'re going to use it for, definately single if you\'re looking to use it alot as a daily runner!

WGT up in Cheshire are foing the work, it\'s coming in at something like £495.

It\'s probably a little cheaper than they\'d charge for just replacing the clutch alone as they already have the engine out for rebuild.  Apparently it\'s quite a major job on the 7 to change the clutch!
