Title: What clutch to go for?
Post by: ScuttleRX on December 07, 2003, 03:11:48 PM
Hi all

Thinking about replacing my clutch with an uprated item as it feels like its slipping a bit, partly due to age and recent mods I reckon.

Whats a good one to go for, in about a £300-£500 budget.

Current mods are a Power FC mapped to 0.9 bar, induction kit, downpipe, and cat back exhaust. Would I need to go for a twin plate, or will a single suffice, i havent got many more mods planned in immediate future apart from an intercooler.

Cheers ;)

Andy

I had en Exeddy one fitted for about £500 which seemed ok but I didnt use it much before I had the accident.

There isnt too much of a choice at that price range.  Take a look around the net and see the stupid price of an FD clutch
