Title: Clunky Noise
Post by: Gman on December 05, 2003, 08:32:39 PM
Another day another new noise :(

This time its a clunk from the rear of the car when the road gets bumpy, i\'m guessing this is the bushes.  How much are new ones? and could it be anything else.

Thanks in advance

i used to get a cluck in scoob when going over speed bumps etc but it went when i replaced it with powerflex metal (not platic original carp) drop link & bushes. Dunno if the RX7 has similar but thought i\'d share that limited & useless info (http://smilies.crowd9.com/otn/wink/1bluewinky.gif)

NB that was on rear & clunk was as wheel/suspension  hit underside as the plastic drop link flexed too much i believe....

I know this is from ages ago, but did you ever sort out your clunk?

I have the same problem.

Cheers
